Terms of service. What we agree on.

Who we are

Give the Mic is a trade name of The Journey Collective LTD (“we”, “us”). “You” is the company that orders a plan, an add-on or a free episode.

What we deliver

We deliver what your plan or add-on includes as described on our pricing on the day you order. The normal use stated there (recordings per week, length, speakers and rounds of changes) is what the price covers. If you regularly need more, we agree on it together first. We never bill extra without your OK.

Our agents do the work and a producer checks it before you see it. Nothing is published without your approval.

Our 72-hour promise

Every episode reaches you within 72 hours after we receive the complete recording. If one is late, you do not pay for that month: we refund it or take it off your next invoice.

The clock stops while we wait for something from you, such as access to a file or an answer to a question. The promise applies within the normal use stated with our prices.

Your approval

You check every episode, clip and page we send you before you approve it. Once you approve something, publishing it is your decision. If you spot a mistake after publishing, tell us and we fix it at no cost.

AI and mistakes

AI agents can get things wrong: a name, a caption, a job title, a fact a guest said. A producer checks every output, and your approval is the last check. We are not responsible for statements your hosts or guests make in a recording.

Prices and payment

• All prices are in US dollars, excluding VAT, as shown on our pricing.
• Monthly plans and add-ons are invoiced monthly in advance by The Journey Collective LTD and are due before the month starts.
• Start a podcast is invoiced half when we start and half on delivery.
• You pay by bank transfer or by card through the payment link on the invoice.
• If an invoice is more than 14 days late, we may pause the work until it is paid. We tell you before we do.
• The founder price stays the same for the 12 months stated with the offer, as long as the plan runs without a break.
• On the founder price, if the first month does not convince you, tell us before the second month starts. We refund the first month and the plan ends.

Term and cancelling

A monthly plan runs for at least three months, unless you use the founder money-back after the first month. After that you can cancel any month by email to hello@givethemic.com before the next invoice date; the plan then ends at the end of the month you have paid for. Months that have started are not refunded.

We can end a plan with 30 days’ notice. We then deliver the work for the recordings we already received.

Your content stays yours

Your recordings and everything we make from them (episodes, clips, quote cards, guest kits, pages and articles) belong to you once the month they were made in is paid. You give us the right to use your recordings only to make these things for you.

We do not use your recordings or your content to train AI models, and we do not sell or share them.

Your feed, channels and domain

Your podcast feed (RSS), your hosting account, your YouTube channel, your social accounts and your domain stay in your name. You give us access as a user or collaborator; we never become the owner.

When a plan ends, you remove our access and we hand over every file and page we made for you within 14 days, in formats you can use without us.

Your guests

You make sure every host and guest agrees to be recorded and to the use of the recording in the episode, clips, pages and posts. You can use our guest release text for this. With Booker, we send that text to every guest before the recording, in your name.

Showing our work

We only name your show or show your published work as an example of ours with your written OK. The founder price is given in return for a case study; the details of that case study are agreed with you in writing, and you approve it before it is published.

The free episode

The free episode is free and without obligation, one per show. You confirm you have the right to share the recording and that the people in it agree. Everything we make for it is yours to keep and publish. We do five free episodes a month; when they are gone, we tell you when it is your turn. The 72 hours start when we confirm by email that we have your recording and can open it.

Personal data

To do the work we process personal data on your behalf: the voices, faces, names and words of hosts and guests. For that, our data processing agreement is part of these terms. For visitors of this site, see our privacy statement.

How long we keep files

• Raw recordings: deleted 90 days after the episode is delivered.
• Finished files: kept while your plan runs, so you can ask for them again, and deleted 90 days after it ends.
• Free episodes: the raw recording is deleted 30 days after we deliver.

You can ask us to delete anything earlier.

Confidentiality

Recordings that are not published yet, your plans and anything else you share with us in confidence stay confidential. Only the people who work on your show see them.

Liability

Our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost profit or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, existing clients hear about it by email at least 30 days before the change applies. The date at the bottom of this page shows the latest version.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Disputes go to the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa. We would much rather solve things in a call first: email hello@givethemic.com.
